Studies have shown that tea has many health benefits; here are four benefits of tea, that could have you drinking green and black tea more often.

Green tea can help improve your brain function, particularly, working memory, or memory that helps us remember common information, such as names and phone numbers. Studies show that participants who drank tea, performed better in tests than those who didn’t.

Black and green tea are also associated with better oral health. The compounds in these teas can help prevent the growth of bacteria that cause gum disease and infection.

The polyphenols in green tea have anti-cancer properties. Studies have shown that in breast cancer patients, drinking green tea slowed progression of the disease.

Tea may also improve muscle health, and prevent age-related inflammation and stress that can break down muscles and bones. More….
