An App for Helping Grocery Shoppers
A new app for helping grocery shoppers can now make shopping easier. The app is called ShopWell, and has been developed with help from dietitians, Stanford statisticians, and health guidelines from Institute of Medicine; it shows a color-coded nutrition ranking of various foods, based on the age, health risks, and personal health goals of shoppers.

To use the app, consumers need to register for the app, and include some basic information about themselves, such as age, gender, health issues, allergies, and health goals, so the app can run it’s algorithms and provide personalized information. More….
