Aspirin Can Reduce Colon Cancer Risk for Some
Researchers have found that people with a particular type of gene can benefit from taking aspirin and can reduce their risk by as much as half.
Researchers have known that anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin can reduce colon-cancer risk, but didn’t know why. They’re hoping that if they can develop a test to identify who will or will not benefit from aspirin, they can prevent side effects such as stomach ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding. More….
