Christian Bale Will Play Steve Jobs in New Biopic – Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin confirmed the news in a Bloomberg interview. The actor will be the second to portray the Apple co-founder.
In the interview, Sorkin says, the role will be extremely difficult and will be there in every scene, and he will have”more words to say in this movie than most people have in three movies combined.”
Sorkin says there was so much admiration for the actor that Bale didn’t even need to audition. Most recently, Ashton Kutcher played Steve Jobs in last year’s titled “Jobs”.
Sorkin wrote the screenplay for the film The Social Network, about the beginnings of Facebook. Bale may be best known for playing batman in the Dark Knight trilogy.
