Dallas Nurse Nina Pham Is Ebola-Free
Dallas Nurse Nina Pham Is Ebola-Free – Nina Pham, the nurse who contracted Ebola while treating an infected patient in Dallas, is now virus free and will be released on Friday.
The NIH said in a statement, “[National Institutes of Health] officials will brief reporters about the discharge of Nina Pham, the Dallas nurse who was admitted to the NIH Clinical Center on October 16 with Ebola virus disease, and is now virus free”.
Speaking at the NIH on Friday, Pham said, “I feel fortunate and blessed to be standing here today. I would first and foremost like to thank God, my family, and friends.”
Pham’s dog Bentley has been under the care of Dallas Animal Services, and has also been declared Ebola-free.
