Dairy intolerance can cause symptoms like headaches, stomach bloating, irritable bowel syndrome. An estimated 65% of people have some type of lactose intolerance.
Goat’s milk contains less lactose than cow’s milk and is more easily digested. Eat good quality cheese and in limited quantities.
Cheese is a great source of calcium. Adults (19 – 50) should take in 1,000 mg of calcium a day.
