ESPN’s Shelley Smith Shaves Her Head after Revealing Breast Cancer Battle – After revealing her breast cancer diagnosis in October, ESPN reporter Shelley Smith continues to empower and inspire those who are following her journey.
The Sports Center correspondent has been very consistent with giving supporters a play-by-play of her ongoing battle via social media, and today, Smith showed that she has taken a leap in this fight by deciding to shave her head as she undergoes chemotherapy.
Shelley posted a photo of herself in the barber’s chair with her new look on Twitter, and captioned the brave photo, “Getting clipped by the best!! World famous Chuck Taylor. Yesterday Shaw, today me.”
She also followed up with a sweet picture alongside her daughter, Dylann, and wrote, “My daughter Dylann (the one with the hair) my moral support! I didn’t cry!”
