And now, after Martha Stewart’s pie article called ‘Conscious Coupling’ came out, Gwyneth has fired back with her own ‘Jailbird Cake.’
The DIY divas are at it again! This Gwyneth-Martha feud is making for some great holiday entertainment. It’s no secret Gwyneth Paltrow and Martha Stewart are having a whole lot of fun mocking each other in the public eye.
Here’s a quick timeline of events. Back in September, Martha told Gwyneth to be quiet and stick with acting rather than dive into the lifestyle brand business. Gwyneth fired back saying she was psyched that Martha saw her as competition and delivered the final shot by hiring Martha’s former CEO as her new CEO for Goop.
But Martha wasn’t done fighting. Just last month, she published a pie article on her website called “conscious coupling” which was all about the perfect marriage of crust and coupling. And now Gwyn’s coming back swinging. She took dead aim at Martha hard time by posting a recipe for the perfect Thanksgiving “jailbird” cake.
