How to Maintain Energy throughout the Day

According to experts, a lot of people need to keep drinking coffee, especially after lunch, to keep awake and to keep going at work. If you feel tired after lunch, the problem probably lies in your diet and how you eat.

Some of the culprits for this after-lunch crash are, not getting all three macro-nutrients in your meals, that is, protein, natural dietary fat, and slow-burning carbohydrates. Other reasons include, not eating much or eating too much, long gap between meals, and eating too much sugar.

Experts say that to maintain your energy levels throughout the day, you need to eat balanced meals, include healthy fats such as cheese in moderation, and not skip meals. More….
