Ice Cream Maker Delivers Breast Milk Dessert to Honor Royal Baby No. 2 – A London-based company called The Licktators has relaunched “breast milk ice cream” in honor of royal baby No. 2‘s imminent arrival.
According to the Licktators’ Facebook page, “Royal Baby Gaga”-flavored ice cream is made with “donated breast milk-screened in line with hospital standards.”
Ice cream maker Matt O’Connor teamed up with “Baby Gaga” break milk ice cream creator Victoria Hiley on this new product. Licktators is selling blue and pink tubs of their ice cream, but have also provided a home recipe for those who can’t find it in stores. According to their Facebook page, they will donate the proceeds to a breastfeeding charity.
Some politicians stigmatize breast-feeding in public, and the ice cream makers hope that this will throw light on the issue and increase support for breast-feeding moms.
