Jennifer Lopez Suggests Marc Anthony Was Just a Rebound – Jennifer Lopez’s new book, “True Love,” suggests that her ex-husband and father of her two children, Marc Anthony, may have just been a rebound to get over her heartache from splitting with Ben Affleck.
Jennifer Lopez is promoting her new book, True Love, but it’s no secret that her love life hasn’t been Hollywood’s most successful. After a loving, seven-year marriage to Marc Anthony, that resulted in two children, that must have been true love, right? Well, remember, Jennifer Lopez’s engagement to Ben Affleck? J.Lo reported writes,”Ben and I split up at the moment when I thought we were committing to each other forever. It was my first real heartbreak … it felt like my heart had been torn out of my chest.”
Keep in mind, J.Lo had been married and divorced twice before this first real heartbreak with Ben, so that’s interesting! Anyway, enter Marc Anthony, whom she’d eventually marry in 2004, but she reflects on her relationship in her book, saying,”Thinking back, may be deep down I knew this was a band-aid on the cut … that my wound hadn’t been stitched or healed. But I pushed all that to the back of my mind.”
