This is a standing core exercise. Who knew it’s possible? But it absolutely is.

So, dumbbell or a medicine ball–whatever you have available. Hold it right at your chest with your posture upright. Descend down into a lunge. Once you get into that good solid lunge position, rotate over that front leg. pause as far as your spine will take you, come back to the center through your stomach and then kick back up to the starting position. Repeat on the other side with that good lunge position, rotate over as far as your spine will let you, come back to the center. Remember, never let your knee pass over your ankle on this exercise. So, we’re working our legs and we’re working our core.
