NBC Correspondent Apologizes after Breaking Ebola Quarantine – Dr. Nancy Snyderman had been in Liberia working with infected Ebola patient Ashoka Mukpo. After she was seen picking up a take out order, she received lots of backlash for violating her voluntary quarantine.

An NBC correspondent apologized after breaking a voluntary Ebola quarantine. Dr. Nancy Snyderman NBC network’s cheif medical editor and her team were placed under quarantine after a cameraman hired to work with her in Africa, Ashoka Mukpo, was doagnosed with Ebola. However, Snyderman received backlash after she was allegedly spotted by Princeton locals picking up a takeout order in a restaurant in New Jersey.

The medical correspondent remained silent after the incident and finally apologized for breaking the voluntary quarantine in a prepared statement read by anchor, Brian Williams on NBC Nightly News on Monday night.

The statement reads as follows:”While under voluntary quarantine guidelines, which called for our team to avoid public contact for 21 days, members of our group violated those guidelines and understand that our quarantine is now mandatory until 21 days have passed…. We remain healthy and our temperatures are normal.”

The quarantine for Dr, Snyderman and her team is in effect until October 22.
