Never eat ramen noodles alone again – If your routine of grabbing a cup of instant noodles from the cabinet, microwaving some water and enjoying a dinner lit by the glow of your computer screen is getting lonely, look no further.

A new website from Japanese instant noodle purveyors Nissin Foods sets you up with a virtual date with Japanese actor Takumi Saitoh while you’re preparing your dinner.

The date starts as soon as your hot water is ready to be poured over the noodles. Press “start,” and Saitoh, who accompanies you at a picnic table in a field, will set a three-minute timer and let you know when your noodles are done cooking. He will then sit with you for 30 minutes, chatting and occasionally blowing on your soup behind the screen to help cool it down.

The website, called Mitsumete Light+, and according to the press release, Nissin Foods created the site to give users the feel of a date with Saitoh.

This isn’t the first innovation to try to help ease the soul-crushing loneliness of dining solo while eating instant noodles. The Anti-Loneliness Ramen Bowl, a bowl with a built-in iPhone dock that lets you FaceTime with loved ones, debuted in 2013. The noodle bowl has a built-in iPhone dock placed on one end so you can comfortably view your device while eating.
