New Pill That Makes You Feel Full
There may be a new pill in the market soon that makes you feel full and prevents overeating.
Called Genesis 100, the pill is taken before meals will a glass of water. It then swells in your stomach and makes you feel full so you eat less. 7
A new study shows that obese participants who took the pill lost 6 percent of their weight after 12 weeks, while those on a placebo lost only 4 percent. They also drank lots of water and ate a low calorie diet. Researchers feel that participants would have lost more weight if the trial had lasted longer.
Researchers say that this may be a safer way to lose weight than other diet drugs as the pills don’t affect the brain chemically. They plan to conduct a larger study soon.
