Nike Demands That Women Be Even More Active
Nike Demands That Women Be Even More Active – Nike has launched a new initiative, #BetterForIt, to inspire women everywhere to be more active, take on new challenges and conquer personal goals—whatever they may be.
Described as “more than just a hashtag,” the athletic company wants women to embrace fitness and sports in the ultimate “rallying cry.” Whether it’s completing one more pushup or running your first half-marathon, Nike wants #BetterForIt to help women reach new heights in their athletic endeavors.
The initiative was launched along with a series of short films, including the 60-second ad, Inner Thoughts, which explores what women are thinking as they’re doing physical exercise like yoga, running, weight-lifting, and spinning. But despite all the struggles the women face, they manage to accomplish their goals. The ad was first shown on MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night.
The #BetterForIt initiative is expected to help Nike grow to $7 billion annually in women’s footwear and apparel sales by summer of 2016.
