Oprah Winfrey’s Car Runs over a Woman’s Foot: She Couldn’t Have Been Nicer and More Gracious
Oprah Winfrey, who famously surprised her audience with Pontiac G6s in September 2006, snapped a picture with Lori Geller Bender after her driver ran over the woman’s foot outside Miami’s Prime 112.
Geller Bender tells the New York Post’s Page Six, “We were crossing the street to arrive at the restaurant, and there were a lot of cameras. I could see a big crowd of security guards, and as soon as Oprah got into the car, it pulled out from the curb, and a wheel went over my foot.”
Geller Bender’s husband banged on the window to alert the driver. She said, “The driver reversed off my foot and Oprah jumped out. She couldn’t have been nicer and more gracious.”
Oprah even snapping a photo with Geller Bender after taking a good look at the foot. Geller Bender says it has always been on her bucket list to meet Oprah, but never could have imagined it would be because a driver ran over her toe.
