School Bus Driver Fails to Help School Kid
A Florida school bus driver failed to help a school kid having a diabetic seizure, and instead told him to get off the bus. Despite pleas from the kid’s sister, who was also on the bus for the ride home, the driver dropped them off at their usual bus stop, without even attempting to help or call 911.
The kid’s sister helped him get off the bus and tried to walk him home, and was able to summon help. After spending two days at a hospital, the kid is doing fine now and is back in school.
Low blood sugar can lead to coma or even death. The county school board is investigating the incident. The driver’s on scheduled time off. More….
