Second Case of MERS in US
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced today that there is a second case of MERS in the US. The outbreak seems to be in the state of Florida, as the CDC said that it is investigating the case along with Florida Department of Health.
The first case of MERS in the US was reported in the state of Indiana last month, and the patient was a healthcare worker who had visited Riyadh. He is now recovering and has been released from hospital. More….
