A new study looked at the feel-good factor of yoga and strength training and found that the mood benefits of each differed.

Researchers found that strength or resistance training was great for making you feel good about your body image, while yoga was great for improving self-esteem, relieving fatigue, and improving quality of life.

Resistance training improves your self-image because it shows quick results; you can see your body getting more toned and muscles strengthening very soon after you start training, and according to experts, this is true for all ages.

Yoga, on the other hand, helps reduce muscle tension and stress by increasing oxygen circulation throughout the body. At the end of a yoga session, you feel more energized. Yoga also improves your posture, which in turn, boosts your confidence.
