The New Exercise Bike – Olympic athlete and trainer Annabelle Rosemurgy (EQ-fitness.com) shows host Judy Greer a workout on a Real Ryder, a new exercise machine that mimics a real road bike, rather than the typical stationary bike.

Posture is key

  • Grasp handlebars gently
  • Keep chest up and open
  • Keep back slightly arched

Quick road bike workout

  1. 5-minute warmup
  2. 2-minute intervals 3 or 3 times
  3. Up resistance/ go uphill while keeping legs moving at same pace
  4. Lower resistance/go downhill while speeding up leg rotation
  5. Cool down.

Keep your body stable on turns to engage core.
