If you want to stay active as you age, especially when you’re retired, here are some great tips.

Staying in bed might be tempting, but starting your day early and maintaining an active schedule is the way to go. Not only do you more time for fun activities, you’ll also be able to enjoy your non-working days more.

Physical exercise is also very important for maintaining your health and energy levels in old age. Since time is no longer a factor after retirement, you can pick the workout you want, and the time of day to exercise.

Keeping your mind sharp is critical. Reading, taking classes, puzzles and brain games are all interesting ways to keep intellectually stimulated.

Pursuing new interests or taking up activities you always wanted to but never had the time for is a great way to spend your time. More….
