Are you addicted to exercise? There are many people who exercise daily, but that doesn’t necessarily make them addicts.

New research shows that too much exercise can have detrimental effects on your physical and mental health. Signs of addiction to physical exercise include, feelings of anxiety and depression when unable to exercise, spending little to no time with family or friends because of excess time spent exercising, and continuing to work out despite an exercise-related injury and against doctor’s orders.

Addiction to exercise is like any other addiction; it takes over your entire life, and everything else – career and relationships, falls by the wayside.

According to research, only 0.4% of the US population suffers from this addiction – the majority of us have the other problem – not exercising enough! More….
