Common Chemicals That May Cause Breast Cancer
Scientists from Silent Spring Institute and Harvard School of Public Health looked at common chemicals that may cause breast cancer and identified 17 of them that we need to stay away from.
The list of dangerous chemicals includes chemicals in vehicle exhaust, flame retardants usually found in furniture, rugs and mattresses, stain-resistant textiles, and paint removers and chemicals used to disinfect water. Chemicals released from operating equipment like lawn mowers, tobacco smoke and burnt or charred food can also cause cancer.
Scientists recommend taking precautions to prevent your exposure to such chemicals. More….
