Here’s how to find the right shampoo for you. The first thing to look for is a shampoo that matches the moisture level of your scalp: oily, normal, or dry.
Not sure what type you are? Try the tissue paper test. A full day AFTER your last shampooing, take a piece of tissue paper and dab, don’t press, it against the top of your head and behind your ears. If parts of the paper become almost translucent, you have oily hair.
Most men fall into the category of normal hair. Products for normal hair are typically gentle enough that they won’t wash away the good balance of natural oils you already have on your head.
