How to Make Candied Almonds and Cashews – Here’s a a quick and easy recipe for making Candied Almonds and Cashews.

Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup cashew nuts
- 2-3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- Salt, a pinch
- 3 tbsp icing sugar (castor/confectioner’s sugar)
Preparation
- In a pan melt the butter, add honey and maple syrup and mix. Then add cinnamon and Vanilla Extract and a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly.
- When the mixture is ready, pour it over your almonds and cashews making sure that the nuts are all coated evenly.
- Pour onto a lined baking tray, spreading the nuts evenly over the try and bake for 10 minutes. Turn them over midway through the baking time.
- Top with sugar while the nuts are still hot and mix them so the sugar has coated all of the nuts.
- Serve the nutty and sweet candied almonds and cashews.
