Curing Lower Back Pain – Recovery expert Bobby Lyle gives host Judy Greer three exercises for helping to cure lower back pain.
Lower back pain affects 80% of people at some point in their lives. Americans spend approximately $50 billion each year on treatment and prevention of lower back pain.
The three exercises Lyle recommends for relieving lower back pain include exercises for releasing hip lexers, hamstrings, and the IT band. The IT band is a tough group of fibers that run along the outside of the thigh.
These are simple exercises you can do even while at work.
Do the IT band stretches on both sides. Do the hamstring stretches and hip stretches on both sides.
Tight hip flexors, usually caused by too much sitting, is a common cause of lower back pain.
