Juices with greens help to detoxify your liver, gallbladder, helps make you skin, nails, and hair healthy. You can eat, have a great cleanse, and lose weight.
In general, juicing:
- Gives the digestive tract a break. The body spends a lot of energy in digestion.
- Juicing removes pulp and fiber from fruits and veggies, allowing your body to absorb nutrients quickly and giving your immunity an immediate boost.
In Chinese medicine, the organ associated with anger is the liver.
Ginger helps neutralize acids and stimulates digestive juices to break down food. Ginger also warms the body, especially on cold days.
Green Energizer Immune Booster
Ingredients
- 2 large cucumbers
- 4 leaves of kale
- 1 handful of spinach
- 6 stalks of celery
- 1 green apple
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 1/2 a peeled lemon
Preparation
Cut everything into small pieces and in a blend in a juicer.
Tips
- You can use hydrogen peroxide to wash your vegetables. Add 1 tbsp of hydrogen peroxide to 1 gallon of water and soak your fruits and veggies for 15 minutes for super clean veggies.
- Use organic vegetables if possible.
