Superfood Smoothie Bowls – Chef Tess Ward shows you the perfect recipe for a super food smoothie perfect for eating clean this winter!

Servings: 2

Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen berries
  • 1 1/2 cups spinach or kale
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp raw cacao or cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • Granola/nuts/berries to serve

Preparation

  1. Put the berries, kale,banana, the cacao powder, honey, milk and vanilla extract into a blender and whiz. Add more milk to loosen the smoothie if needed.
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with some homemade granola, toasted oats or nuts and berries.
